One more paradise! Kalamos is one of the smallest inhabited islands in the Ionian Sea.
A unique mountainous green island with many pine trees that create natural shading conditions.
The island covers a total surface of 24, 9 sq. km and its highest point reaches the 754 meters.
Kalamos has numerous beautiful unspoiled beaches and well-shaped fiords.
Some of the most well-known beaches are Agrapidia, Mirtia and Asprogiali.
The main village of the island has one small picturesque harbor surrounded by stone houses, café’s taverns, mini-market, beach bars and other facilities.
Also, there is one smaller settlement in the northern part, called Episkopi.
Kalamos is located southeast of Lefkada, close to Kastos, Meganisi and the famous island of Scorpios.
